Got my mac!

Life don't always turn out the way you want it to be

Brought the matric card, cheque, everything.
Dad wrote the amount in words, but left the digits out.
Lady showed me the amount, I blindly wrote it down- $2309.05.
Without realizing that Dad wrote- Two thousand three hundred nine and cents six.
SIX, not FIVE.
So I can't get my Macbook today :(
Quite disappointed, wasted trip!
Plus I missed my Yoga class.

Let's look on the bright side:
At least I've to go down NUS on Thurs so yeah I can get my Mac then! :)
And oh, poor Jolene couldn't get her laptop either cos she forgot her matric card!

Cooked rice w/o realizing the water was too much for the rice!
Whoops. SO HUNGRY!

HOW SCREWED.

Anyway! Thursday saw me at my last day of work.
Officially. (Cause I'd be going back to help out now and then when I'm free :))
Well.. It was actually Hot Yoga with Boss, then SUSHI TEI, then back to office!
SUSHI TEI= BEST JAP EXPERIENCE. BY FAR.
I'M SO GONNA SIGN UP FOR SUSHI TEI MEMBERSHIP SOON!

Late for registration on Friday cause I left home w/o the forms.
How smart.
Since I was already SO late, I walked home from the 2nd stop after realizing I didn't bring the forms.
SO COOL RIGHT. HAHA!
Reached NUS around 11am.
Scheduled time was 9am O.O
NUS IS HUGE!
Doesn't help that I've zero sense of direction/navigation.

Ahhhh.. Missing Jackjack :)

According to some people, their impression of Jackjack?

"Oh, that damn noisy group??"

"So loud..!"

And just yesterday, Shona told me 2 girls said this:

"Jackjack..the group the girls with chopstick legs??"

Shona and I were like, "OH they're like totally jealous or what!"

HAHA! But of course, we're just kidding here :)

Main point is- JACKJACK OUTING SOON!

Joining Kickboxing started off as an attempt to maintain the fitness level.
It has somehow, evolved into a weekly routine.
Made new friends in class, been about 3(going on 4) months since I joined.
From the lady with tattoo(chinese characters!) whom the instructor addresses her as my "God-ma" (haha), to the short-hair lady whom the instructor like to tease, to the "1st-row" lady whose probably got the most-toned legs I've ever seen, to the "Banana" uncle who always gives us, well, bananas, to the instructor of course and many more!
Am really glad I joined the class.
Now that university is starting soon, I'm hoping that I'm still able to continue the Sunday class.

Daddy bought D24 durians! :D

Not a huge believer of "branded" durians, Daddy usually go for "brandless" durians.

Based on his many years of durian-picking "skills", we usually end up with yummy durians.

Fresh, yellowish (and therefore,sweet) ones.

This is probably the first time he bought a D24!

The verdict? Welllll.

Nothing really special.

But durians are afterall, simply durians to me.
I'm not fussy when it comes to durians! :)

Mambo on Weds YAY cannot wait!! :D

Embracing the new

I went for a HOLIDAY with my Boss at Savannah!

OK, maybe not.

After all those talk(s) regarding my work and my boss, guess some may be curious about how SHE looks like!

She's pretty, no? :D

I can't help but wished that I've found this job much much much earlier.

So I've job-hopped quite a few times.

From working as a salesgirl at Lovelydeart to part-time waitress(?) at Haagen, to telemarketing at Toa Payoh, Bukit Merah, and finally a PA at ERA.

She's got to be the BEST boss that I've ever had.

Perhaps cos she's only 24 and we can communicate pretty well.

Part of me wished that I could take a break before Uni starts, but part of me feels that I should continue working as boss needs me and she has been ever so nice to me.

She even told me that I could go back and work anytime I want.

By the way, she brought me in to ZOUK on Weds night!

Guess everyone has lost some friends cause you guys grew apart/didnt contact?
I think it's a friendship super wasted.
It's like how this cliched saying goes- Fate brought us together, destiny brought us apart.
Or something like that.

Was supposed to go for YOGA with Boss but she just arranged an appt.

AH, I'm SO dropping by Taka after yoga.

Mambo Jumbo

Some pictures from Mambo yesterday (ladies) night:

Gosh if only I had knew Mambo was THIS fun.

Truly amazing- the crowd, the music, the beats, the moves.. everything!

We played some drinking games before entering the clubs (to get high, what else?).

And for the FIRST time, I felt the alcohol working on me.

Giddy spells, floating, high-ness, you name it.

Didn't drink much though, so I was still pretty much sober.

Told Mumsie about Mambo, apparently she loves oldies too and she told me to bring her to Mambo!

Is there an age limit?

Brother loves Mambo too.

Guess it runs in the family hahaha.

And oh, something REALLY interesting happened to one of us at Phuture yesterday.

We (sort of) promised not to tell so I gotta (try to) keep to my word.

But if there's one word to describe the whole thing, it would be none other than- SCANDALOUS.

SO looking forward to Mambo next Weds! :D

I'm really tired (I slept from 6-930am this morning) so I'll update other stuff another time.
